HyFun Foods, one of India's leading frozen potato processors and exporters, has announced the inauguration of a new state-of-the-art cold storage facility in Mehsana, Gujarat, developed in collaboration with Maersk. The 260,000 sq. ft. (24,150 m²) facility, located at Fanidhar Mega Food Park, provides capacity for 14,700 pallet positions and is one of India's largest single-shed cold stores.Construction began in January 2024, and the facility was built exclusively for HyFun Foods to store frozen processed food products.

The new facility is designed to strengthen the company's cold chain infrastructure by expanding storage capacity, improving operational efficiency and maintaining high standards of product quality. Located adjacent to HyFun Foods' manufacturing plant, it supports the company's cold chain by integrating storage with inland transportation, port handling and ocean freight.
The project represents another milestone in the partnership between HyFun Foods and Maersk, supporting the company's efforts to build a stronger, more efficient and sustainable supply chain.
