Het weer blijft erg wisselvallig en veel telers weten hierdoor niet waar ze goed aan doen. Het rooien van aardappelen en de aanvoer hiervan valt vooralsnog tegen. "We kunnen in de behoefte voorzien, maar daarmee is dan ook alles gezegd", zegt Leon van den Oord. Hij benadrukt dat de aangevoerde aardappelen grof en goed van kwaliteit zijn. Ook bij de veiling in Sint-Annaland blijft de aanvoer van aardappelen momenteel uit.
