De specialist in diepvriesgroenten Pinguin heeft over het boekjaar 2006/07 voor het eerst sinds 2002 weer winst geboekt op jaarbasis. Pinguin plant in oktober een kapitaalverhoging van 65 miljoen euro. Het in Westrozebeke gevestigde bedrijf boekte een nettowinst van 6,9 miljoen euro, na een verlies van 3,5 miljoen euro vorig boekjaar. De bedrijfswinst (ebit) steeg met 9,6 miljoen euro tot 10,5 miljoen euro. De bedrijfskasstroom (ebitda) dikte met 6,8 miljoen euro aan tot 13,9 miljoen euro.
