Potato seed was provided to farmers in Kanchanpur district free of cost to attract them towards commercial potato farming.
Each farmers of Darji received 50 kg potato seed of improved breed under Potato Seed Growth Programme, said a social mobiliser, Yagya Raj Bhatta.
According to Bhattar, the move aims to increase income of farmers and pursue them to take up potato farming commercially.
