El almidón de papa de marca ADP, causó interés por su calidad en la gastronomía y en la industria de alimentos. En el mercado japonés el consumo de almidón para uso domestico en la alimentación es alrededor de 100,000 toneladas al año.
El Sr.Toshihito Hirai quien es experto en Desarrollo de productos alimenticios ocupa el cargo de Gerente General de la división de alimentos de la cadena de supermercados de AIC INC del Japón, institución que tiene 7,400 establecimientos de expendio de alimentos en el Japón, el objetivo de su visita fue evaluar las condiciones de producción e infraestructura de los productos y analizar la posibilidad de exportar hacia el Japón.
