Zeker vanuit het Midden-Oosten en Noord-Afrika is er volop vraag naar pootgoed uit Nederland, meldt Peter Ton van Stet Holland.
In tegenstelling tot Europa is er voldoende vraag naar aardappelpootgoed in de landen rond de Middellandse Zee. ‘Voor Stet Holland is het een goed jaar tot dusver’, vertelt Ton. ‘Wij zijn voor 80 tot 85% afhankelijk van onze afzet naar die landen en nu al grotendeels uitverkocht.’
