MCDC Field Day 2026

The MCDC Field Day & Social Event 2026 is a full-day agricultural knowledge-sharing and networking event organised by the Manitoba Crop Diversification Centre (MCDC) in Carberry, Manitoba, Canada. Taking place on 5 August 2026, from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM, the event will bring together growers, researchers, agronomists, industry representatives, and agricultural professionals to explore the latest advancements in sustainable food production and crop diversification. 

The event will showcase MCDC’s ongoing applied research initiatives and provide attendees with valuable insights into innovative farming practices, agronomic strategies, and emerging technologies. Key focus areas will include crop diversification, greenhouse gas reduction approaches, lupin and soybean production, sustainable potato management, and improvements in potato storage quality. Through field tours, research demonstrations, and expert presentations, participants will gain practical knowledge to support more efficient, resilient, and sustainable agricultural systems.

In addition to research showcases, the event will feature hands-on equipment clinics, industry updates, and interactive discussions with agricultural experts.
