Region Description
Christmas Island is a small Australian external territory located in the Indian Ocean. Due to its limited land area, tropical climate, and unique environmental conditions, there is no evidence of commercial or large-scale potato cultivation on the island. The region is characterized by rainforest, phosphate mining, and a focus on conservation of endemic species. Most agricultural activity is minimal and primarily aimed at local subsistence rather than commercial production.
