Switzerland: trials with genetically modified varieties are authorized
To combat the decline in the number of growers and in domestic production, the government is authorizing trials with GMO varieties, a disruptive move by European standards.

Potato waste from farm to fork quantified in Swiss study
On the way from field to fork, more than half of the potato harvest is lost. This is according to a new study conducted by researchers from Agroscope and ETH Zürich.
