Apache has a very striking appearance. It has small round tubers with a distinctive red skin dotted with cream-coloured patches with a lovely smooth texture.

Bute has proven strengths in the white pre-pack market. It produces high yields of bold, uniform, bright tubers which are an ideal shape for prepacks. Bute is a reliable variety with good all round disease resistance. Several seasons of commercial production have proven Bute’s ability to keep its bloom and cooking quality after long term storage.

Caledonian Pearl is a new variety of second early with a waxy flesh which makes an excellent salad potato. It produces large yields of uniform, yellow-skinned tubers with shallow eyes.

Caledonian Phoenix is an early maincrop. It has good potential for prepack and table markets both in the UK and overseas. Attractive short oval tubers, very high yields of bright uniform tubers. Light yellow flesh. Resistant to G.rostochiensis.

Caledonian Rose is a new variety producing attractive oval tubers with strong red skin and yellow flesh. This versatile variety has excellent all round cooking qualities.

Harmony is an outstanding variety for Prepacking and Baker markets. It has a high yield of both Prepack and Baker sized tubers. Given reasonable crop management Harmony delivers a well above average `pack-out’. It is also easy and reliable to grow on most soil types.

Kestrel gives good yields of very attractive, long oval, parti-coloured tubers which have good all round cooking quality. It has good chipping potential, particularly early in the season.

Marvel is an outstanding variety. It is easy to grow, produces a high saleable yield of bold shallow eyed tubers, with good all-round disease ratings. These including useful Ro1and Pa resistance combined with PCN tolerance.

Nadine produces a very high yield of bright attractive tubers for the fresh market. It is a leading variety with a proven track record in both North Temperate and Warm Southern climates.

Osprey is a second early potato. Osprey produces good yields of bold bright tubers with good all-round cooking quality. Known for its uniformity and good-looking tubers, it has good potential for both prepack and table markets in UK. Cream waxy flesh, excellent flavour and texture.

Stemster produces high yields of bold, red skinned tubers with light yellow flesh and shows good drought and heat tolerance. It has resistance to PCN Ro1 and resistance to potato virus Yo. Good quality tubers suitable for boiling, baking and roasting.

Sunrise is a good quality variety, producing a high yield of bold attractive tubers with good flavour. Sunrise has good resistance to drought and common scab, it also stores well. Sunrise has a medium to high dry matter and eats well boiled, mashed, roasted.

The Swift potato variety, introduced in 1997 by Caithness Potatoes in the United Kingdom, is renowned for its very early maturity, typically ready for harvest in 10-12 weeks. It produces round to oval, smooth-skinned tubers with creamy white flesh.

Valor produces high yields of bold white tubers of good all round cooking quality. It is highly adapted to a wide range of growing environments. It has very high tolerance of heat and drought.
