Bambino is a popular baby potato for growing at home, as it has good resistance to several ‘problems’ including eelworm, scab and blight.

Cabaret is a medium dry matter variety with extremely bright and bold tubers. It has excellent, long-term stable fry colours, particularly out of storage and tastes superb. Cabaret fries, boils and bakes extremely well.

Casablanca produces a good yield of uniform tubers with 19-21% dry matter early in the season. Fry colours off field are excellent.

Elland is an early maincrop variety with excellent processing characteristics. Oval – long-oval tubers with shallow eyes ideally suited for chipping. Regular tuber shape and skin brightness give potential in the prepack sector.

Tubers have good resistance to splitting and some resistance to bruising.  Trials have found good resistance to dry rot (F. coeruleum), powdery scab and potato virus A.

Isle of Jura has been well accepted in the pre-pack and general ware markets thanks to its excellent flavour as highlighted in numerous third party taste tests.

Early maincrop variety producing very high yields of long-oval tubers with pale yellow flesh. Excellent bright skin finish with shallow eyes. Higher dry matter (typically 22%) than Estima giving good taste and eating qualities which are well received by the consumer.

La Strada is an early maincrop variety producing very high yields of bold and bright tubers. La Strada has an average dry matter and a pleasant taste and texture.

Manhattan produces excellent high yields of short oval tubers with a cream flesh which is well suited for prepack ware/ baker production.

Navan is a high dry matter variety with common scab resistance. Navan has excellent all round cooking qualities and is popular for frying.

Olympus is a high yielding, maincrop crisping variety suitable for long term storage. Uniform round shape, pale fry colours, high dry matter and low defect levels deliver high crisp yields.

Rocket is a very heavy cropping variety with pure white flesh, which is waxy and soft at first digging. Many customers have been delighted by the earliness, ease of culture and size of crop.

Safiyah is a second early variety for general purpose use. Tubers have poor resistance to splitting and some resistance to bruising.  Trials have found good resistance to potato leafroll virus, blackleg and dry rot. (F. sulphureum).

Saxon Potatoes are oval, with light-buff skin and pale yellow flesh. These are waxy potatoes. Though they are marketed as all-purpose for direct to consumer sales, their flesh stays very firm after cooking.

Skywalker has excelled in early-lift trials and hot climate trials over several years. Good early dry matter accumulation 19 – 21% coupled with good shape. Initial results from third-party trials indicate above average cooking qualities and taste.

Primarily targeted at the salad/baby market Vizelle produces oval tubers with a light yellow flesh. Vizelle has a pleasant waxy texture with good taste and no break-down after boiling.
