Oregon Potato Company pays EPA penalty for failing to report ammonia release
Oregon Potato Company failed to report an anhydrous ammonia release at their facility in Warden, Washington and will pay the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency a $66,235 penalty.

City of Burley awarded $499,000 to build infrastructure for new potato dehydration plant
Governor C.L. 'Butch' Otter announced that the city of Burley will receive nearly $500,000 in Community Development Block Grant funding for the cost of public infrastructure to support a new potato dehydration facility of Gem State Processing.
