Pinguin is a specialist in vegetables and set itself the objective of offering a broad range of quality 'Vegetable Solutions' to all types of customers. Pinguin acquired the potato processing company Lutosa in 2007 and changed name to PinguinLutosa.

When Lutosa was sold to McCain Foods in 2013, the remaining company changed its name to Greenyard Group.

The company does no longer sell potato products.

PinguinLutosa gains in Brussels trading on offers for potato unit

PinguinLutosa NV (PIN), the Belgian producer of frozen vegetables, rose the most in almost three years in Brussels trading after saying it received unsolicited non-binding offers for its potato division.
