Analyst Says Wendy's Turnaround Stalling

A Lehman Brothers analyst said Monday Wendy's International Inc., the nation's No. 3 hamburger chain, is struggling to turn its business around, despite a consumer environment that should help fast food restaurants garner more customers.

Analyst Jeffrey Bernstein said in a note to investors that the chain has not been able to "build momentum"and that investors are becoming frustrated by a a lack of detail on the company's review of strategic alternatives.
