Bert Jansen to become CEO AVEBE

The Supervisory Board of AVEBE U.A. has the intention to appoint Mr. Bert Jansen as CEO and Chairman of the Board of Directors per September 1st, 2008.

Until 2006 Bert Jansen was member of the Executive Board of Campina BV and in this position responsible for Campina’s commercial, operational and R&D strategy. Moreover he was responsible for the three consumer groups of Campina (the Netherlands, Germany and International).  Before that he was Chairman of the Board of Campina AG in Germany and Group Director.

Previously Bert Jansen has held positions at companies such as Philips, Akzo and Douwe Egberts/Sara Lee.

Bert Jansen is 49 years old, is married and has 2 children.

The Supervisory Board wishes him success in this challenging position.
