Over 320 innovations submitted for Agritechnica 2011

Septiembre 16, 2011
Agritechnica is the world’s largest forum for presenting new agricultural machinery and equipment. This year the exhibition more than meets this distinction.

Over 320 innovations have been submitted to the organizer DLG (Deutsche Landwirtschafts-Gesellschaft – German Agricultural Society). This can be rated as a clear indication that the manufacturers of agricultural machinery and equipment are launching an innovations campaign for the coming years.

An impartial, international Innovations Commission made up of experts from the fields of research and academia, consultancy and practical farming, selects Gold and Silver Medal winners from among the submissions on the basis of strict criteria. The Gold Medals will be presented by DLG President Carl-Albrecht Bartmer and German Federal Minister of Agriculture Ilse Aigner at the traditional Max Eyth Evening at Agritechnica on 14 November 2011.

The DLG President will present the Silver Medals at a ceremony in Forum 2, Stand E29 in Hall 19, at 9.30 a.m. on Sunday, 13 November 2011. The Agritechnica innovations will be showcased compactly on Stand A30 in Hall 19 at the exhibition.

All Gold and Silver Medals will be presented in an Innovations Magazine that also contains details of all the company innovations submitted to DLG on time and reviewed by the Commission. The Innovations Magazine will appear in mid-October and be disseminated as a supplement to the DLG magazine “DLG-Mitteilungen”. It will also be available at all DLG stands in the Exhibition Grounds. An Innovations Magazine will be produced in English for the international, non-German-language countries once again this year too. It will be published by DLG in cooperation with Max-Eyth-Verlag in the trade magazine “Agrifuture” under the title “Agritechnica Innovations” and will also appear in mid-October 2011. The English-language Innovations Magazine too will be available free of charge at the DLG stands in the Exhibition Grounds in Hanover.

Agritechnica will be held from 15 to 19 November 2011 (Preview Days on 13 and 14 November) at the Exhibition.
