Albert Bartlett Rooster Potatoes has signed up another ex-Desperate Housewives star as the face of the brand, with Jesse Metcalfe featuring in the new ad.
Metcalfe, currently starring in Dallas as Christopher Ewing, is seen ‘raising the temperature of the housewives’ in the new ad by MPH as he jogs past them on the streets of London, so the potatoes cook before they are near an oven.
Running from today until Christmas, the ad aims to raise the awareness of the brand.
Anne Rodgers, Albert Bartlett marketing executive, said: “Using Hollywood to deliver our message appeals to both the core fresh potato customers and younger consumers.
“It also adds a glitzy image to the Rooster, which is the premier brand in a rather unglamorous category.”
