Natural Products Expo West 2020 is postponed

Due to the international situation regarding COVID-19, Natural Products Expo West in March 2020 is officially postponed.

After consulting with key partners within the natural products community, New Hope Network has decided that, due to the developing circumstances around the COVID-19 virus, we will not move forward with hosting a rescheduled Natural Products Expo West event in Anaheim in 2020.

We are shifting our focus and resources toward making Natural Products Expo East 2020 (Philadelphia, Sept. 23-26) this year’s world-class innovation showcase and community gathering needed by the natural & organic products industry.
Globally, 1.6 billion tons of food is wasted annually – the equivalent of the combined weight of every person in New York state. Fresh produce waste is one of the largest contributors to global food waste, with the average US household throwing away 58% of fresh produce throughout the year.

Strong Roots is committed to finding solutions to the global food waste crisis. In purchasing one package of Strong Roots, approximately one pound of food waste is eliminated, as consumers can buy and eat only what is needed.

From farm to freezer, Strong Roots works to reduce waste through each phase of production. For example, they wash produce using collected and treated rainwater, and use vegetable waste to make biogas, which provides the energy needed to steam and freeze the vegetables.

Additionally, all products are verified vegan and non-GMO, made with no artificial flavors and developed with trusted farmer relationships across the United States and Europe.

Strong Roots continues to assess its entire supply chain to measure environmental impact and identify areas for improvement. Currently, Strong Roots is preparing to become the first Irish-based food brand to be B Corp certified by the end of the year.

At this year's Expo West, Strong Roots will be at the North Hall [Level 200, booth N1545], offering two of its most popular products, Cauliflower Hash Browns with tomato relish and the Beetroot and Bean Burger, served by culinary specialists, including Founder and CEO Samuel Dennigan.

This April, Strong Roots will be launching nationwide at Whole Foods. Strong Roots is also available at national and independent retailers such as Gelson's, Wegmans and Meijer, among others.
