Flo-Mech Ltd has officially opened its new demonstration facility, offering customers the opportunity to experience a wide range of advanced food processing technologies from the company’s global partners. The purpose-built area showcases multiple high-performance machines and serves as a hub for testing, development, and product trials.

Showcasing Advanced Processing Equipment

The new facility features equipment from several of Flo-Mech’s associated partners. Among the highlights is the Alexandersolia GmbH G450, a versatile, high-capacity processing unit equipped with interchangeable parts for slicing, grating, shredding, and purée applications.

Also installed is the Provisur Technologies Inc. Hoegger PS2000 separating machine, widely recognised as an industry benchmark for mashed potato production and highly effective for fruit and vegetable purées. Complementing this is the Modern Process Equipment (MPE) Chain-Vey system, a gentle and efficient tubular drag conveyor ideal for conveying snacks, pet food, cereals, and many other product types.

Future Additions and Customer Trials

Flo-Mech plans to expand the demonstration area further with additional equipment from both its own product range and partner technologies. This will include the company’s newly developed on-demand slurry flavouring system, designed for precise and consistent mixing of powder and oil for snack flavouring.

Customers are invited to test their products at the new facility or arrange an on-site trial. All demonstration units are fully mobile and can be easily transported to customer locations.
