Dutch Potato Starch manufacturer Avebe will pay its members 76.50 euros per ton of potatoes.

Dutch Potato Starch Manufacturer Avebe recently announced the final campaign price of 76.50 euros per ton of potatoes to its members.

At the beginning of the season, an advance of 65 euros per ton of potatoes was set, later this was increased by 6 euros to 71 euros per ton of potatoes. During this campaign, the corona virus caused uncertainties such as the transport of products to customers in Asia.

Nevertheless, the results were positive and the final campaign price has now been set at 76.50 euros per ton of potatoes. Including premiums and surcharges, Avebe will pay an average of 84 euros per ton of potatoes this year.

The fiscal year 2019/2020 ends on 31 July and the cooperative subsequently announces the performance price in November. This is Avebe's main financial indicator in which the cooperative result and potato money come together.

Scheduled maintenance and investments are currently taking place. The factories will start up again in mid-August for a new processing campaign.
