Hiermee wordt Vion voor het eerst actief op de afzetmarkt voor industriegroenten. Vion produceert tot nu toe vooral vlees- en vleesproducten. De overname geeft Vion de mogelijkheid om de afnemers een breder assortiment te bieden, stelt Marc van der Lee, directeur Communicatie van Vion.
