Het areaal pootgoed in Nederland stijgt komend jaar met 2,5 procent tot bijna 37.500 hectare.
Keuringsdienst NAK presenteerde gisteren de Nederlandse areaalcijfers voor aardappelpootgoed in 2010. In totaal melden pootgoedtelers voor de veldkeuring dit jaar 37.407 hectare aan. Dat is 907 hectare meer dan in 2009.
Volgens Ton Stolte, manager buitendienst van de NAK, komt de uitbreiding van het areaal vooral voor rekening van het zuidwesten van Nederland en Flevoland. In Groningen en Friesland komen er nauwelijks hectares pootgoed bij.
