DLV Plant laat weten dat op woensdag 8 juni Phytophthora is gevonden in de omgeving van Assen.
De aantasting is door DLV Plant aangetroffen op een perceel consumptieaardappelen van het ras Donald in nog onbeschermd gewas.
De bron van de Phytophthora komt uit het perceel zelf en heeft te maken met het teeltverleden van het perceel.
DLV Plant: "Zoals we al eerder aangegeven hebben via ons actualiteitenmedium Actua, raden we aan extra voorzichtig te zijn op dit soort risicopercelen. De afgelopen dagen waren erg infectieus. We raden u aan, als uw gewas nog onbeschermd is, zo spoedig mogelijk een curatieve bespuiting uit te voeren."
