La semana pasada en Brasil, el precio de la papa especial Agata registró un promedio de R$ 90/bolsa de 25 kg en el mercado mayorista de São Paulo (SP), una leve caída de -5%; R$ 80/sc en Belo Horizonte/MG (-4%) y R$ 90/sc en Rio de Janeiro/RJ (estable).
Durante otra semana, el mercado se mantuvo sin cambios significativos. En Guarapuava (PR), las cosechas están en la recta final, y en Água Doce (SC), están prácticamente terminadas.
Por otro lado, Chapada Diamantina (BA) está en plena cosecha, con buena productividad y oferta. La región de Ponta Grossa (PR) también viene avanzando en la zafra, y en el Sur de Minas Gerais (MG), a pesar de estar en el inicio de la zafra, también se muestran buenos rendimientos.
La demanda, debilitada hacia finales de mes, justifica la ligera tendencia a la baja de los precios.
