LAMMA got off to a flying start on its first day last Wednesday 19th January, as farmers from around the country travelled to Newark Showground to view the latest innovations in farm and agricultural machinery.
The show was blessed with glorious weather and organisers said attendance was even higher than anticipated, showing positive signs of increased confidence in the industry. Tong Peal were proud to show at Lamma alongside our local dealer Burden’s Goodacres.
The generously sized Newark Showground gave Tong Peal a fantastic opportunity to showcase the company’s latest model of its market leading grading machine, the Caretaker Classic, which can be fully customised to suit individual requirements.
The Caretaker, which includes an infeed hopper, Scotts ‘Evolution’ cleaning system, easy grade screen module and inspection area, proved extremely popular with visitors to the show. Nick Woodcock, Sales Manager at Tong Peal said “LAMMA gave us the perfect opportunity to meet customers and interest in the Caretaker grader was overwhelming”.
The latest model of Tong Peal’s popular EasyFill box filler was also on show on their outdoor stand, which is now manufactured with linear actuator controlling lowerators to reduce maintenance and improve efficiency.
The new model of the EasyFill also comes complete with a new easy-to-use control panel and the hugely successful ‘doorstop belt’ for the gentle handling of crop. “The success of the EasyFill is based on the unique rubber ‘fingers’ which hold the crop without the need for conventional curtain hoods” said Edward Tong, Operations Director at Tong Peal.
