The Ontario Agri-Food Innovation Alliance is a partnership between the University of Guelph and the Ontario Ministry of Agriculture, Food and Rural Affairs (OMAFRA). It promotes innovation in agriculture and rural sectors through research, education, and knowledge sharing.
The Alliance supports research in areas such as crop improvement, animal health, and environmental sustainability. It manages research stations across Ontario, including the Ontario Crops Research Centre – Elora, where the Elora Potato Research Field Day 2025 will be held.
Through training programs, public events, and collaboration with industry, the Alliance ensures research reaches farmers and agri-food professionals. Its work helps drive practical, science-based solutions for Ontario’s agri-food future.
