INTERPOM 2026 Sells Out With 330 Exhibitors From 15 Countries as Potato Industry Focuses on Resilience

INTERPOM will bring the international potato industry together at Kortrijk Xpo in Belgium from November 29 to December 1, 2026. The event will feature 330 exhibitors from 15 countries, with the exhibition floor already completely sold out.

As Europe's leading indoor trade fair covering the entire potato supply chain, INTERPOM brings together growers, contractors, processors, packers, buyers and traders of fresh and processed potatoes. Visitors will be able to explore machinery, products, services and digital technologies while gaining insight into market developments, innovations and prices ahead of the coming season. 
 

Exhibition floor completely sold out

The previous edition of INTERPOM in 2024 attracted a record 24,000 visitors, an increase of 18% compared with 2022. International visitors accounted for 31.5% of attendance, with participants arriving from 59 countries. Interest has remained strong for 2026. The number of exhibitors matches the record established in 2024, while the exhibition floor has been fully booked since the end of August.

Growing resilience in a changing world

The potato sector is operating against a backdrop of climate change, increasing pressure on water and other resources, geopolitical uncertainty, changing trade flows, stricter regulation, rising energy costs and rapid technological development.

Against this background, INTERPOM 2026 will be held under the theme "Growing resilience in a changing world". The event will highlight how technology, practical solutions and innovation can help growers, processors and buyers remain competitive and sustainable.

Innovation will also be highlighted through the Innovation Tour, while resilience will serve as the common thread throughout the seminar programme organised by Belgapom, the professional association representing the Belgian potato trade and processing industry. 
 

Three days focused on the potato of tomorrow

Each day of INTERPOM 2026 will focus on a different aspect of resilience, combining a morning keynote with an afternoon panel discussion involving experts from business, academia, civil society, research and politics.

• Sunday, November 29 – Resilience of Supply: Potato of the Future
  The programme will examine how potatoes can remain climate-resilient and economically viable while continuing to meet the requirements of processors and consumers.
• Monday, November 30 – Resilience of Water: Water Management of the Future
  Discussions will focus on maintaining high-quality potato production while reducing pressure on increasingly scarce water resources.
• Tuesday, December 1 – Resilience of Operations: Factory of the Future
  The programme will explore how potato processors can remain competitive amid changing regulations, geopolitical uncertainty, rising costs and rapid technological development.

Christophe Vermeulen, CEO of Belgapom, will moderate the sessions. The complete seminar programme is expected to be announced through the INTERPOM website in mid-October. 
 

Visitor registration and ticket sales open

Online visitor registration and ticket sales for INTERPOM 2026 are now open. Visitors must register online in advance and purchase an admission ticket. Those using a complimentary invitation or discount code must also complete their registration online.

Admission costs EUR 15 per person per day, while visitors with a valid discount code can purchase admission for EUR 7.50 per person per day.
