The company's portfolio includes well-known brands such as Leo, Encanto, Snaky, and Lourdes, covering everything from regular and homestyle potato chips to extruded cheese snacks and pork rinds. BYDSA was founded in 2003 through the union of two established snack brands, Leo (launched in 1982) and Snaky (registered in 1992). In 2004 the company acquired Botanas Encanto, a brand with roots dating back to 1957. In 2023, BYDSA expanded further by acquiring Botanas Lourdes, a Tijuana-based snack brand. The company operates four manufacturing plants in Mexico and one in Harlingen, Texas, and is part of the Xignux group.
