PPM Technologies spun of from FMC

PPM Technologies, a newly formed corporation, has acquired two divisions of FMC Technologies--Allen Systems and PPM. It is now headed by Mark Eaton, who has been serving as general manager for the past five years over both Allen Systems and PPM.

Based in Kristianstad, Sweden, PPM provides potato processing technology, including pre-processing equipment, blanchers, fryers for french fries as well as potato chips and pellets. Allen Systems, headquartered in Newberg, Oregon, USA, offers conveying, flavoring application, optical sorting and weighing equipment for a wide array of foods ranging from snacks and meat to seafood and poultry.
