Una delegación de periodistas gastronómicos de los más importantes medios de comunicación de Chile que visita el Perú destacó hoy la campaña de promoción y de revaloración de la papa que se realiza en el país y reconoció la calidad de los platos elaborados a base de este tubérculo. Los cronistas del vecino país, quienes permanecerán en el Perú una semana, visitaron las instalaciones del Centro Internacional de la Papa (CIP), en el distrito de La Molina, y recibieron información sobre el esfuerzo del gobierno peruano, a través del Ministerio de Agricultura, para impulsar un mayor consumo de papa, sobre la gran variedad de papas nativas que produce el país y, finalmente, degustaron exquisitos platos preparados a base de papa.
