Schade door ritnaalden, de larven van de kniptor, komt over de jaren heen steeds vaker en heftiger voor. Dit kunnen we bij Bayer CropScience alleen al zien aan de gestage toename van het gebruik vanMocap 20 GS.
Maar ook geluiden vanuit aardappelhandelshuizen en afzetorganisaties bevestigen dit. Na een lange winterperiode komt nu het voorjaar eraan. De bodemtemperatuur gaat stijgen. Daardoor worden de in de grond aanwezige ritnaalden actief en gaan op zoek naar voedsel. Een goed moment om monitoring te starten.
