The Africa Food Show 2026 is one of Africa’s leading food and beverage trade exhibitions, bringing together food manufacturers, suppliers, distributors, retailers, hospitality professionals, and industry leaders from around the world. The event will be held from 10–12 June 2026 in Cape Town and serves as a key platform for business networking, product sourcing, and market expansion across the African food industry.
Formerly known as Africa's Big 7, the event has evolved into a major international marketplace showcasing food products, beverages, ingredients, processing technologies, packaging solutions, and supply chain innovations. More than 350 exhibitors and thousands of industry professionals are expected to participate.
The exhibition highlights emerging trends such as plant-based foods, health and wellness products, sustainable packaging, and advanced food technologies. Visitors can discover new products, explore business opportunities, and gain insights into Africa’s rapidly growing food market.
In addition to the exhibition, the event features industry conferences, expert-led workshops, live cooking demonstrations, and culinary competitions. These activities provide valuable knowledge, networking opportunities, and practical insights into the latest developments shaping the food and beverage sector.
Co-located with the Hotel & Hospitality Expo Africa, the Africa Food Show offers a comprehensive platform for connecting food suppliers with buyers from the retail, foodservice, hotel, and hospitality industries, making it one of the continent’s most important food trade events.
