True-AI grading for internal and external defects
The Elisam CombiGrader analyzes potatoes and onions according to characteristics including size, weight and color, while Ellips True-AI technology detects internal and external defects.
For potatoes, detectable defects include wireworm, rhyzo, compression bruising, mechanical damage, scab, scurf, punctures, growth cracks, sprouting, internal browning and hollow hearts, among others.
For onions, detectable defects include rot, mold, sprouting, fusarium, root tear, balding, misshapen produce, sun scald, mechanical damage, internal rot, root plate, bulb rot and neck rot, among others.
