The BF / BFL 200 performs the essential first step in the separation process by forming well-structured beds for further cultivation.
Two base models are available to suit different soil conditions:
- The BF plough body is designed for medium to heavy soils, especially where large stones and high clod content are present.
- The BFL plough body, featuring extended side mouldboards, is ideal for light soils, helping retain loose soil within the bed and preventing it from falling back into the furrow.
Both variants can be optionally equipped with bed loosening tines, enabling efficient operation even in non-prepared soils.
Soil-Specific Performance & Advanced Protection
- For Heavy Soils (BF Body): Convex mouldboards are ideal for medium to heavy soils, efficiently handling high levels of stones and clods while forming uniform beds.
- Protected Against Stones (Mechanical): Shear pin-based stone protection safeguards the plough body, reducing damage and extending machine lifespan.
- Highest Stability (Hydraulic System): Hydraulic stone protection with decreasing release force allows smooth lifting over large stones, protecting components and minimizing downtime.
- For Light to Medium Soils (BFL Body): Long mouldboards are suited for track widths up to 180 cm, forming stable “kit-kat” (trapezoidal) beds with minimal furrow and better soil retention.
