The GRIMME GB 430 is a four-row belt planter designed for fast, efficient, and gentle potato planting. It handles non-calibrated and oblong tubers, while calibrated sizes allow speeds up to 10 km/h for higher output. It supports both ridge and bed planting with adaptable chassis options.
Performance can be enhanced with features like under-root fertilisation, ridge shaping, erosion control, granule application, and liquid treatment systems. Optional Clever Planting and Section Control improve precision and efficiency.
Highlights
The GRIMME GB 430 enables planting in separated beds using the Flow-Board XL and furrow openers, ensuring consistent soil coverage. It delivers high capacity with speeds up to 10 km/h and gentle tuber handling through a box turn unit.
Its advanced chassis with gantry pivot axle provides excellent manoeuvrability, while ridge shaping systems improve water absorption on light soils. The shaping board XL creates large-volume ridges for better tuber development.
Clever Planting optimizes spacing near tramlines for uniform growth and higher yield. The TS 820 tank system supports combined plant protection with liquid application directly to tubers or furrows.
