The Dutch company Altena Potatoes received its first full truckloads of Santé potatoes.

It's a good season for import potatoes in the Netherlands. More people are cooking at home. That's undoubtedly contributing to this, as are the 'old' potatoes deteriorating quality.

The mood in the Dutch potato market still remains good, according to potato exporter Altena: "Despite the high prices, there is still a good demand,"says Kees Schouten of Potato Wholesale Altena.
