Don Papone is an Argentine potato supply chain company that grows, selects, processes, and distributes potatoes and vegetables. The business traces its origins to the founding of Agropecuaria Arroyo Seco S.R.L., a family enterprise dedicated to potato production and marketing. In 1960, the company expanded its operations to Mar del Plata under the vision of Don Narciso Gigli, who recognised the fertility of the region. In the 1990s, the company opened one of Argentina's first potato processing plants, enabling direct supply to supermarkets and hypermarkets. In 2010, the company acquired the Don Papone brand, a specialist in processed vegetables and cut potatoes, diversifying its offering and consolidating its position in the sector. Today, Don Papone remains a family-run business with a processing plant certified by SENASA (Argentina) and SAG (Chile), employing 40 collaborators and serving over 500 clients with more than 8,000 monthly deliveries.
