Following the success of the CropVision launched in 2020, DOWNS, a leader in potato reception, automated sorting, and storage, introduces its new high-throughput optical sorter for unwashed potatoes: the CropVision Plus.

Potato Days UK, held in early September at Dyson farming’s Nocton Farm in Lincolnshire, ended on a high note, meeting visitor and exhibitor expectations.

On Wednesday, 4 September, at Nocton, Lincolnshire, the new Potato Days UK will be kicking off, offering a full two-day programme of exhibition, trial plots, professional programme, and live machinery demonstrations. Visitors enter for free on both days, 4 and 5 September, with prior registration needed.

The DOWNS CropVision®, a new optical sorter for unwashed potatoes, is now available in the United States Market via MAT-Harvesting.

DOWNS has extended its range of optical potato sorters with the arrival of the I-CropVision®: a modular version of the CropVision®, it incorporates the same technology and numerous benefits.

DOWNS introduces CropVision®: an Optical Sorter for Unwashed Potatoes, evaluates and categorizes potatoes using HD cameras combined with AI and splits them into three streams, at a capacity of up to 100 tons per hour.

The last potatoes were planted at the end of April at PotatoEurope’s demo site and until the end of May the participation demands continued to come in. With less than three weeks to go, time for an update!
