The Finnish Seed Potato Centre Ltd. - SPK - is a seed potato producing enterprise, which continues the work of former state owned institute. The tasks of the SPK are the maintenance of healthy seed material and basic seed production of the potato varieties cultivated in Finland or produced for export. In this connection, the SPK maintains a close-knit cooperation with potato growers, breeders in different countries and representatives of potato varieties in Finland.
