Garden of Eatin’ is a brand of natural and organic snacks providing organic corn tortilla chips, taco shells, and similar snack items made mainly from organic and non-GMO ingredients. The brand is especially recognized for its blue corn tortilla chips and manufactures a variety of corn-based snacks for retail and foodservice sectors. The company's products utilize organic corn obtained from farming allies, claiming that its tortilla chips are made from whole organic corn kernels through a unique processing technique. Garden of Eatin’ products are situated in the natural and organic snack food market and encompass items that pertain to the larger potato, vegetable chip, and processed snack sectors.
Garden of Eatin’ was established in 1971 by Al Jacobson, originally as a health food brand with the introduction of organic whole-wheat pita bread. In 1986, the company ventured into tortilla chips when Jacobson acquired organic blue corn and started making blue corn chips. The item was unveiled at a specialized food exhibition and served as the basis for the brand’s later tortilla chip lineup. Throughout the years, Garden of Eatin’ broadened its range to encompass various types of organic tortilla chips and additional snack items. The brand joined The Hain Celestial Group in 1998 and was later incorporated into Hain’s North American snacks collection, which features brands like Terra.

Following the transaction, Garden of Eatin’ became part of Snackruptors’ North American snack food portfolio.
