Nilgiri Potato and Vegetable Growers Association (NPVGA) was started in the year 1997, to provide commonplace for meeting the members of the association for discussion of common problems encouragement of Thrift, and advancement of welfare ideas.
The Nilgiri District is a mountainous area in Tamil Nadu, a Southern State in India.
The Association helps to educate and impart knowledge to the members of the association about all kinds of subsidies and other benefits as and when announced or rendered by the government to the agriculturist. It also assists to coordinate with soil, agriculture and other government department and to educate the members as regards the development projects programmes, etc as and when announced by the government either state or central connected with agriculture.
