Papas Santa Fé supplies and distributes fresh potatoes, frozen potatoes, potato snacks, rice, beans, eggs, cooking oils, frozen seafood, frozen gyozas, and breaded fish items to retail, foodservice, and commercial customers throughout Mexico. Its potato operations include sourcing, selection, washing, grading, packaging, cold storage, and distribution of fresh potato cultivars like Fianna and Atlantic.
Papas del Pacífico was founded in the 1980s by the Tiscareño family in central Chihuahua's Reforma market. After closing in 1994, operations resumed about 2000 under the name Papas Santa Fé. The company grew from a potato selecting and packing operation to a larger food distribution enterprise with customers in Chihuahua and other regions.
The business traces its origins to Papas Del Pacífico, a family business founded by Jesús Tiscareño in the 1980s at Mercado Reforma in Chihuahua City. Following the closure of Papas Del Pacífico during the 1994 economic crisis, César Tiscareño relaunched the operation in mid-2000 under the Papas Santa Fé name. The business initially operated with three employees and subsequently expanded its supplier network, processing infrastructure and refrigerated distribution fleet.

Papas Santa Fé sources potatoes from growers in Sonora, Jalisco, Michoacán, Veracruz, Baja California, Sinaloa, and Coahuila. Its potato processing plant contains equipment for potato washing, sorting, inspection, packing, and stretch wrapping. The company also runs three cold storage rooms with a combined capacity of roughly 420 tons, which help with the storage and distribution of fresh potatoes and other potato products.
Papas Santa Fé markets its potato chip products under the Botanas Santa Fe brand and its frozen potato products under the Papas Santa Fé brand.
