Malaysia's crude palm oil (CPO) production rose 4.4 percent to 1.6 MMT in November. The increase in palm oil production and decline in palm oil exports more than offset the increase in domestic disappearance, resulting in an increase in carryout stocks to 1.68 MMT at the end of November. Palm oil prices strengthened towards the end of December, in line with the increase in global crude oil and soyoil prices. Post revised CPO output for the Oct-Dec period to 4.48 MMT, bringing total CPO production for calendar year 2007 to 15.7 MMT.
