Potato price in Armenia expected to double in spring 2012

Chairman of the Agrarian-Peasant Union of Armenia Hrachya Berberyan said that potato price at the local market is expected to double in spring 2012 to reach AMD 350-400 per kilo. This will be conditioned by the summer drought that resulted in loss of 40% of the crops, according to him.
