Empresarios vinculados a la comercialización de semilla de papa, especialidades y a la producción y multiplicación de papa de Estados Unidos visitaron la Unidad Integrada Balcarce (Estación Experimental Agrope-cuaria del INTA Balcarce – Facultad de Ciencias Agrarias) interesados en conocer la tecnología de última generación que se aplica dentro del proyecto PROPAPA cuyo responsable es Marcelo Huarte.

Ukraine Imports Over Five Times More Potatoes in 10 Months Amid Falling Exports

Ukraine imported 123,140 t of potatoes in Jan–Oct 2025, up 5.1 times, worth USD 66M, mainly from Poland, Egypt and the Netherlands. Exports fell 13.4% to 2,140 t, though earnings rose slightly. In October, imports dropped sharply while exports grew.

Kids an die Knolle 2026 – Registration Opens for German School Garden Potato Program

The DKHV is relaunching the 'Kids an die Knolle' school garden program in 2026, inviting teachers and educators to register and receive 5 kg of free seed potatoes for hands-on learning. Schools can register until 15 February 2026.
