Manitoba potato growers are in the home stretch with planting. "It's been a wonderful spring for planting. We're with a lot less excess moisture situations and planting is progressing at a very nice pace,"says Randy Davage of ATP Nutrition.
"Some of our growers are anywhere from 50 to 60 percent in the ground to as close as 90 percent with some wrapping up here."He says conditions have been ideal.
