In honour of Avebe’s centenary in 2019, His Majesty King Willem-Alexander granted the company the Royal Warrant.

During the presentation of the Royal Warrant at the end of last year, CEO Bert Jansen described Avebe as a powerful and healthy cooperative.

Bert Jansen:

"I’m proud to receive this Royal Warrant on behalf of the cooperative. It is the crown on one hundred years of working together."

The royal crown was added to the Avebe logo last year and can be seen at the various Avebe locations. Avebe wants to publicise its Royal Warrant, which is why it is now reflected in its formal name. The trade name Royal Avebe is used in addition to the trade name Avebe.

In the coming months, Avebe will incorporate the new formal name and trade name in its various communications.
