Agristo Joins Potato Sustainability Alliance as New Processor Member

Agristo has joined the Potato Sustainability Alliance (PSA) as a new Processor Member, reinforcing its commitment to advancing sustainable potato production through collaboration across the industry. The membership comes as the Belgium-based potato processor continues to expand its presence in North America with its first U.S. potato processing facility in Grand Forks, North Dakota. 

The new processing plant will source locally grown potatoes from the Red River Valley of North Dakota and Minnesota, supporting regional growers while supplying potato products to customers across the United States. Agristo's expansion reflects the company's long-term investment in the North American potato sector and its focus on building resilient, sustainable supply chains.

Strengthening sustainability through collaboration

By joining the Potato Sustainability Alliance, Agristo will work alongside growers, processors, customers, retailers, and other industry partners to promote continuous improvement in environmental, economic, and social sustainability across the potato value chain. The alliance brings together stakeholders committed to sharing best practices and advancing responsible potato production.

Agristo says sustainability is embedded throughout its operations, with a strong emphasis on maximizing the value of every potato grown by its farming partners.
