Iceland's 76% duties on imported french fries are not unconstitutional, Supreme court rules
The highest court in Iceland has upheld a ruling that a 76% duty charged on imported French Fries is not unconstitutional.
The 'edge cut' (pictured right) is tastier, crunchier and looks better than the traditional cut which has long been touted by chefs such as Heston Blumenthal, Students from the Edge Hotel School at the University of Essex found.

In October chef Heston Blumenthal revealed his top tips for achieving roasties that are crispy on the outside, fluffy on the inside, every time. However, according to students from Edge Hotel School at the University of Essex, Blumenthal has been cutting his spuds all wrong.
Strong growth was noted in Albert Bartlett’s frozen food business, which launched in 2015 with the acquisition of a frozen potato processing facility in Norfolk. Initially launching with three lines, this has now been doubled to six.
