McCain Foods (GB) Ltd recalls  Sweet Potato with Rosemary & Garlic due to potential grit contamination

McCain Foods (GB) Ltd is recalling all batches of the Sweet Potato with Rosemary and Garlic (pack size 400g) as the product potentially contains pieces of grit that became embedded within the sweet potato during harvesting. The pieces of grit are very small and not considered to be harmful.
McCain Foods (GB) has recalled the affected product from consumers and issued a press release. Point-of-sale notices have also been issued explaining the reason for recall and the actions consumers can take if they have bought the affected product.
No other McCain products are known to be affected.
